Vehicle Description 1941 Packard 110 Woody that was completely restored from the frame up in the 1970s to provide a safe and reliable driving experience.
It has been with the same owner since 1971 and stored in a climate controlled garage.
The car is Three on the tree manual and starts and drives excellently.
Original overdrive allows it to drive comfortably around 65 mph.
Aesthetically the car is true to the original 1941 design with the exception of the two spare tire containers mounted behind the front wheel fenders.
Non-aesthetic modifications for enhanced performance are as follows:
Complete body re-build including strengthening frame and wood parts (photos attached).
Fuel tank replaced with race car tank to prevent fire and explosion in case of accident.
Fuel assist pump added to help fuel feed to engine after long periods of not driving.
Hydraulic brakes added to all four wheels, original car had two mechanical brakes on the rear wheels.
Updated electronic system from 6v to 12v (including battery, generator, and alternator).
Modern AM/FM digital radio.
